BIANCA LJUNGBERG

Bianca has a gift in her ability to listen intuitively and give each client an experience with Pilates that is tailored to their needs.

More About Bianca

A dedicated student of the Pilates method for over 16 years, Bianca has completed thousands of personal and certified hours on the mat and apparatus, where she has trained with Body Arts and Science International (BASI) – a leading Pilates education academy which pushes its students to become masters in the art of movement and science of anatomy.

Over the past eight years, she has owned and managed The Studio Côte d’Azur where she has worked with clients and practitioners from all walks of life.

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, she pivoted her business and moved online with The Studio Online, offering bespoke private Pilates teaching to clients all over the world. Now living full-time in Sweden, Bianca has expanded her studio concept and opened in Scandinavia with The Studio of Sweden.

Bianca is especially passionate about working with women in their 40s, 50s, and 60s who want something more meaningful from exercise. She has experience with a number of different injuries and physical conditions and works with a holistic understanding of the human body. She has completed advanced education courses in Pilates for Injuries and Pathologies, Pre- and Post-Natal Pilates, and CHEK Scientific Core Conditioning.

In 2022, Bianca took a sabbatical to further her personal studies in somatics and trauma, qualifying with the Sounds True Healing Trauma Certification Program in October 2022.

For Bianca, there has been no better place to explore and challenge her practice of Pilates than in her own body. She has had multiple knee surgeries, chronic neck pain, and various struggles with her physical and emotional health, all of which have led her on a journey of better understanding lifestyle stress and the mind-body connection.

Bianca practices what she teaches and continues to attend regular therapy, workshops, and movement practices to nourish her own personal and spiritual growth. She is a mother of two young children, a wife, and a career woman who understands the challenges of everyday life.

South African-born, Bianca is also a keen walker, daily meditator, and writer and holds an Honours Degree with distinction in Journalism from the University of Cape Town. She is passionate about yoga and an avid reader. Bianca lived in the south of France for nearly ten years before moving to Sweden with her husband, two young children, and dog.
