ABOUT OUR PRACTITIONERS
All practitioners at The Studio Côte d’Azur are independent. All practitioners are highly qualified in Pilates and insured to teach internationally (excluding Canada and the United States).

SESSIONS
All sessions start and finish strictly on time. Sessions are instructed in English or French. All mats and equipment are provided by The Studio Côte d’Azur. At the end of each session, all equipment is sprayed and cleaned.

PAYMENTS & REFUNDS
Payment
Payment to our studio is made to The Studio Côte d’Azur in advance of your booking, either via secure credit card processing (Stripe) or electronic transfer. Credit card payments are via our booking system, Acuity & Stripe (and not via a credit card machine). Payment will never be due to your practitioner.

Security
Rest assured, we have done all the due diligence necessary to ensure that you can book and pay for your sessions at The Studio Côte d’Azur with complete confidence, knowing that your personal and financial information is protected at all times.

All payments for classes and packages are processed securely through Stripe, our trusted global payment partner. Stripe uses advanced encryption and complies with the highest industry standards for online security (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified). When you make a payment to us, your card details are transmitted directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers. Stripe automatically performs fraud checks and authentication (including 3D Secure when required by your bank) to ensure your payment is safe.

Payments via EFT
For larger payments, we accept payment via EFT. 

Payment via cheque
Payments via cheque are not possible.

Studio 4-cards expire after 60 days and cannot be transferred, extended, or refunded. Yacht & villa jobs are charged accordingly. 

Invoicing procedure
Yes. All clients will receive a receipt upon payment and an invoice shortly thereafter.

BOOKINGS
All bookings are managed through Acuity Scheduling and coordinated by The Studio Manager. We are mindful of limiting the number of messages and emails we receive. Kindly do not contact your teacher directly to arrange your reservations. The Studio Manager is available for all reservation requests: studio@thestudiocotedazur.com

CANCELLATIONS
Sessions not cancelled or rearranged within 24 hours are charged in full without exception. We charge full price for no shows. Cancellations can be made directly through Acuity or by emailing The Studio Manager: studio@thestudiocotedazur.com

REFUNDS

We do not offer any refunds whatsoever for any services purchased, whether delivered or not yet delivered. 

LATENESS
Our studio runs strictly to time. Group clients arriving late are asked to enter quietly without disrupting others. Private clients may be offered the option to extend their session (subject to availability) at an additional rate of €40 for 30 minutes.

PHYSICAL CONTACT
Our teachers provide hands-on adjustments during in-person sessions to assist with alignment and safety. If you prefer not to receive physical adjustments, please inform your practitioner before your session.

ONLINE SESSIONS

Online sessions are conducted via secure digital platforms. Please ensure a stable internet connection, adequate space, and suitable equipment for safety and optimal instruction.

CAUTIONS, INJURIES & HEALTH FORM

All clients are responsible for informing their practitioners of any injuries, health conditions, or limitations prior to the beginning of each session. New clients must complete our mandatory new client form before starting Pilates at The Studio Côte d’Azur.

SAFETY STANDARDS
We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety within our studio.
All equipment is inspected regularly, and our teachers are fully qualified and insured.
We prioritise creating a safe, supportive, and professional environment for all clients.

ONLINE PRIVACY POLICY AND GDPR
We take your privacy seriously and comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We take every measure to protect client data both online and offline. Please let us know if you would like any personal information or photographs removed from our social media platforms or website. Our studio is closed to social media content creation & filming, unless for organised marketing purposes. The Protection Regulation (GDPR) and changes that came into force on 25 May 2018. Please visit our social media platforms and website, and make us aware of any photographs or information about yourself that you would prefer to be deleted.

CONFIDENTIALITY POLICY AND NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT
All practitioners and clients of The Studio Côte d’Azur agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding personal information shared within sessions or studio communications.
Any sensitive or personal data shared during a session will remain private and will not be disclosed without written consent, except where required by law.

DISCLAIMER NOTICE
Participation in any physical activity at The Studio Côte d’Azur is undertaken at your own risk.
By attending our sessions, you acknowledge that Pilates and movement-based practices involve physical exertion and accept responsibility for your own health and well-being.
All clients must consult a healthcare provider before starting any new exercise program. At times, we may request that you receive permission from your doctor to participate in The Studio Côte d’Azur.

CHILDREN AND BABIES IN OUR STUDIO
We welcome mothers returning to exercise post-pregnancy.
Babies aged 6 weeks to 10 months may accompany their mothers to certain sessions with prior agreement from the practitioner.
Our studio is buggy-friendly, with a lift in the building and space to park buggies safely during your practice.
For parents with older children, we kindly ask that your children wait quietly in the waiting room while you practice. 

DOGS AND ANIMALS IN OUR STUDIO
We love animals, but cannot allow dogs or other animals inside the studio.

STUDIO HIRE
We are delighted to provide a beautiful, fully equipped space for local health and wellness professionals to host their events, workshops, and courses. Studio hire includes the use of glasses, cutlery, water, teas, and coffees. For all studio hire enquiries, please contact studio@thestudiocotedazur.com
